SAXTONS RIVER-This winter, Main Street Arts is adding nine new classes: Jumpstart Your Ukulele with Stu Fuchs; Unlock Your Creativity based on The Artist's Way with Ashley Storrow; and Feldenkrais and Vocal Improv Workshop, both led by Paris Kern.
MSA will also offer three Creative Aging Classes that are free to anyone over the age of 60. These classes include Booking Making Using Sewing Techniques with Amber Paris, Printmaking with Annie Quest, and Theater Play with Michael Zerphy and Ham Gillett.
A previous class participant stated, "It enlivens me to see people of all ages, interest, and abilities filling the building. There's something here for everyone to explore their creativity and connect with one another."
Jumpstart your Ukulele will be on Tuesdays from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., $90 for six sessions. It will run from Jan. 7 through Feb. 11. Feldenkrais will take place on Tuesdays from 9 to 10 a.m., $120 for six sessions, Jan. 14 through Feb. 18. Unlock Your Creativity will be on Tuesdays from 9 to 10 a.m., $30 for six sessions, from Feb. 25 through April 1. The Vocal Improv Workshop will be Feb. 1 from 10 to 4 p.m.
The Creative Aging courses are as follows: Bookmaking will take place on Thursdays, Feb. 6 through March 27, 10 a.m. to noon; Printmaking will be on Tuesdays, Feb. 4 through March 25, 10 a.m. to noon; Theater Play is scheduled for Tuesdays, Feb. 4 through March 11, from 1 to 2:30 p.m.
