Reynolds appointed bank culture officer

BRATTLEBORO-Brattleboro Savings & Loan recently hired Anne Reynolds as their new vice president of culture officer. This role has been expertly filled by Michele Hackett who retires at the end of August.

According to a news release, Reynolds comes "with a long resume of helping organizations build and maintain a positive and engaging workplace culture."

"Since I started here at BS&L, I've been striving to foster the wonderful culture at the bank that so reflects the values of our communities," said President and CEO Deb Stephenson. "Anne brings such a wealth of HR and organizational development work that will keep our momentum moving ever forward."

Reynolds has more than 20 years of experience in HR, including her recent roles as a human resources consultant and director of human resources at prominent organizations. She has partnered with clients to assess HR needs, develop customized solutions, and implement best practices tailored to unique organizational cultures.

"Anne is just what we need for a Vermont bank that's so committed to serving its communities," said BS&L's Executive Vice President and COO Sue Teixeira.

Reynolds's experience also includes her tenure as the group director of human resources at Ocean House Management, where she provided strategic leadership in talent sourcing and employee engagement. She also served as the director of human resources at Stratton Mountain Resort for over 13 years, where she successfully implemented HRIS platforms, strengthened community relationships, and fostered an entrepreneurial employee culture.

Stephenson said hiring Reynolds was intentionally timed to overlap with Hackett to create a seamless transition.

"Anne will be working closely with Michele as she prepares for her well-deserved retirement. Michele has been an integral part of our organization, consistently demonstrating exceptional dedication and commitment. Her contributions have greatly shaped our workplace, and she will be deeply missed."
