BRATTLEBORO — The Winter Farmers' Market - one of the longest-running diverse indoor farmers' markets in southern Vermont - returns to the River Garden in downtown Brattleboro for its 11th season this year starting Nov. 5.
As the famous outdoor summer farmers' market in West Brattleboro closes Oct. 29, fans can simply follow many of their favorite vendors indoors the following week, according to a news release.
Visitors to the Winter Farmers' Market will find more local produce than ever before. Each week, the River Garden is transformed into a warm indoor marketplace with close to 30 vendors, including many favorites from past seasons.
The Winter Farmers' Market welcomes debit, credit, and EBT (3SquaresVT) cards. EBT customers can turn $10 into $20 each week with Crop Cash Coupons for fresh produce and fruits thanks to NOFA-VT, Wholesome Wave, and a FINI Grant through the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
