BRATTLEBORO — The Arts Council of Windham County kicked off summer with its first ARTstravaganza in May. With more events on the horizon, including a Masquerade Ball on Oct. 28, and planning their 2017 ARTstravaganza, they are looking for help.
They offer some specific ways to get involved:
• Become a board member: Do you have passion or expertise in an area that you are willing to share with the Arts Council and other artists in Windham County? The Council is looking for individuals to bring their expertise to the table with a willingness to use what they know to nurture and connect with artists in Windham County.
• Join the Masquerade Ball Planning Committee: The Council needs help planning the Masquerade Ball and would love individuals to help them put together a smashing evening for their October fundraiser.
• Gallery Walk Work Team/Think-Tank: Many have provided feedback about the Council's ongoing monthly Gallery Walk in Brattleboro. The Council is bringing together a team of individuals to discuss long-term strategies around the Gallery Walk.
Anyone who is interested in any of these possibilities for involvement or has other ideas is invited to contact Arts Council of Windham County President Shanta Lee at [email protected] or call 802-275-8152.
