MARLBORO — The Marlboro Mudfling, the social highlight of mud season in Marlboro and the annual fundraiser for Marlboro Meeting House preschool, is Saturday, March 1, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Marlboro Meeting House on South Road.
Hosted by school parents, the Mudfling is an adults-only evening out. For a $10 donation at the door, enjoy a silent auction, a cash bar featuring Whetstone Ciderworks, all-you-can-eat gourmet desserts and coffee and tea, and live music.
And that music is provided by Bossa Renova, an ensemble performing traditional Brazilian bossa nova and original material by vocalist and guitarist Jesse Lepkoff.
The silent action features a great variety of items donated by local businesses and area artists: everything from maple syrup to concert tickets to fine art.
