• Robert Glenn “Bob” Chapman, 62, of Brattleboro. Died March 23 at Brattleboro Memorial Hospital. Brother of Betty Weatherhead of Guilford, Irene Miller and husband, David, of Vernon; Kim Leiterman and husband, Lynn, of Geneva, N.Y.;  Russell Chapman and wife, Anne, of Lyndonville; and Ronald Chapman and wife, Jill, of Greenville, S.C. Predeceased by siblings James and Roy Chapman, and Marilyn Best. Born in Brattleboro, the son of Glenn and Dorothy (Pierce) Chapman, he graduated from Brattleboro Union High School, Class of 1967. Worked as a cook most of his life, starting at Pasqual's Restaurant in Brattleboro when he was in high school. Among the many other restaurants where he had been employed were The Country Kitchen, Stone Fence Inn, Putney Inn, The Grafton Inn, Major Leonard Keep Restaurant and the Ramada Inn of Keene. His last cooking position was in the kitchen at Vernon Green Nursing Home. Recently, he had attained his Licensed Nursing Assistant certification and worked as a care giver with the nursing staff at Vernon Green. It was a position he thoroughly enjoyed. His compassion for the care of the aging was birthed at the time of his loving, dedication and care of his mother as her health declined. He was a lifelong Methodist. He was a Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan, and enjoyed time shared with his family. Memorial information: Graveside committal services will be conducted March 30 in Meetinghouse Hill Cemetery. • George E. “Pete” Jenna, Jr., 52, of Chesterfield, N.H. Died March 20 at his home. Husband of Margaret Brow for 30 years. Father of Marjorie Jenna and her fiance, Aaron Gauthier, of Winchester, N.H.; Amanda Sharkey and her husband, Chad, of Chesterfield; and Joseph Jenna and his wife, Meredith, of Greenville, N.H. Brother of Jim, Michael, Rex, Brian, and Kevin Jenna. Born in Brattleboro, the son of George E. Jenna, Sr., and Joan Mansur Jenna, he lived in the Chesterfield area all of his life. He was a 1977 graduate of Keene (N.H.) High School and worked at Auto Mall in Brattleboro as a mechanic, and drove a delivery truck for Barrows and Fisher Oil Co. in Brattleboro. Most recently, he had been a driver trainer for First Student Bus Company and also worked at Keene Chrysler-Jeep-Dodge. His life revolved around his family and the time spent together at family gatherings were his happiest moments. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and carpentry. Memorial information: A funeral service was held March 24 at Fletcher Funeral Home in Keene. Burial will take place in the Freidsam Cemetery later in the spring. • Thomas James Maloskie, 51, of Brattleboro. Died Feb. 24. Father of Connor and Shannon Maloskie of Bentonville, Ark. Brother of Carol Carpenter of New Britain, Conn.; and Sharon Gideon of Norwich, Conn. Born in Brattleboro to Mildred and the late George Maloskie, he grew up in Vermont and Connecticut. He was an Eagle Scout, and graduated from Manchester (Conn.) High School. He received a degree in Business Administration from the University of Connecticut in 1982. Worked at Comp-u-Card in Stamford, Conn., a basis for his future jobs in marketing and sales. Throughout the years, his path led him to see the United States from New Britain, Conn., to Brattleboro, to Seymour, Conn., to Morgan Hill, Calif., to Bentonville in working for Sam's Club for the past seven years. He was sincere, earnest, loyal, industrious, a good provider, self-sacrificing and an affectionate father to his children. He spent several years coaching soccer for area youth, and had a devout love of nature and the outdoors. Memorial information: A funeral Mass was held March 26 at at St. Jerome Parish in New Britain, Conn. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at a later date at St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church in Brattleboro. • Everett Leslie “Mac” McAllister, 69, of  Vernon. Died March 24 at Brattleboro Memorial Hospital. Husband of Patricia Ann Paquette for 50 years. Father of Michael McAllister and wife, Susan, of Raleigh, N.C.; Jeffrey McAllister and wife, Lori, of Brattleboro; Vicki Washburn and husband, Craig, of Putney and Angela McAllister Campbell and husband, Mark, of Brattleboro. Brother of Garnold McAllister of Vernon, Morton McAllister of Brattleboro, Norman McAllister of Newport, and Marjorie Paquette of Brattleboro. Predeceased by siblings Maynard McAllister and Virginia McAllister. Born in Richford,  the son of Leslie and Beatrice (Ryea) McAllister, he was raised and educated in Richford and eventually moved to Brattleboro. Worked for Cersosimo Lumber for nearly 50 years as a forklift operator, a logger, and a truck driver. Enjoyed hunting, playing softball in the greater Brattleboro Men's League, woodworking, and time shared with his family. He was an avid Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan. He was mechanically inclined and was known as an excellent mechanic. Memorial information: A memorial gathering in celebration of his life will be held on March 30 at the Elks Home on Putney Road.  Burial will take place at a later date in North Cemetery in Vernon. •  Charles Henry “Charlie” Morse, 81, of Brattleboro. Died March 20 at Thompson House. Husband of Marianne Wood for nearly 15 years. Brother of Harry A. Morse andhis  wife, Lori, of Brattleboro; Alfred C. Morse Jr. and his wife, Marjorie, of Rowe, Mass.; Ruth Taylor and her husband, Ed, of Putney; and Bertha Lapine and her husband, Robert, of Springfield. Predeceased by brothers Edward Morse and Philip Morse and sisters Rose Owsiak and Dorothy Giamarco. Born in Brattleboro, the son of the late Alfred and Arlene (Cudworth) Morse, he attended local public schools and went to work at American Optical from the time the company opened its new plant on Putney Road in 1942 until AO closed its doors in 1983. He later was employed at the Fulflex Co., which took over the AO facility. He was proud of the fact that he worked for 55 years at the same location on Putney Road. He enjoyed golfing and was a member of the Brattleboro Country Club. Of his other leisure time activities, he liked to hunt and travel the back roads of Vermont. Devout in his walk of faith, he was a member of the West Townshend Seventh Day Adventist Church. He was known for his spirit of friendship, a happy-go-lucky personality, and for being a strong advocate for people's needs and concerns. Memorial information: A memorial service in will be conducted at the Mountain View Seventh Day Adventist Church in Vernon on Sunday, May 1, at 11 a.m. A potluck and time of fellowship will follow the services. • Linda Rose Paolantonio, 59, of Rutherfordton, N.C., formerly of Wilmington. Died March 21. Wife of Donald Ayers for 25 years. Brother of Perry Paolantonio, Jr. and wife, Paula, of Brattleboro; and Danny Paolantonio and wife, Susan, of Lynbrook, N.Y. Born in Freeport, N.Y., daughter of the late Perry Paolantonio Sr. and Nettie Pititto Paolantonio, she was a 1970 graduate of Freeport High School. She worked in the family restaurant businesses both in New York and at the Cup 'n' Saucer in Wilmington for many years. She was known for her sense of style and generosity. She loved her family and desired to pass on the family legacy to future generations. Before moving to North Carolina, she enjoyed doing outreach volunteer work for the Catholic Diocese of Rockville Centre, N.Y.  • Romey “Nick” James Romano, 88, of Bellows Falls. Died March 20 at home. Husband of Germaine B. Romano for 50 years. Father of Romey J. Romano II and his wife, Marcella, of Troy, N.Y.; Angele H. Romano of Keene, N.H.; and Nicole Kidder and her husband Ken, of Lake Havasu City, Ariz. Brother of Ann Hamel and her husband, Charles, of Springfield, Vt.; and John Romano of Rutland. Predeceased by sisters Concetta Dennett, Georgia Spinelli, and Mary Romano. Born in Bellows Falls, the son of Nicola Romagnoli and Giovanina Estramonte, he served his country in World War II in the Army's 25th Infantry Division in the Pacific. He participated in the liberation of the Phillipines received the Bronze Star and Purple Heart. He attended numerous reunions of the 25th infantry division during his lifetime and attended his last in September 2010. He attended Berklee School of Music in Boston for six months, but due to a war-related illness, he had to withdraw and spent the next three years in a military hospital recovering. He became a DJ at WXGI at the hospital while there, and never gave up his love and appreciation of a wide variety of music, particularly the “Big Bands.” He was an avid sports fan and was actively supportive of his children in all the sports that they participated in. He was a lab and X-ray technician at the Rockingham Memorial Hospital from 1955 until 1963, where he met and fell in love with his future wife. They settled in Gageville where they raised their family and both resided until his death. He was a machinist at Lovejoy Tool Inc. in Springfield from 1964 until 1987. After that time, he enjoyed a very active “retirement” which included work at Aubuchon Hardware, the Miss Bellows Falls Diner, Boccelli's-on-the Canal, and The Health Center at Bellows Falls. Memorial information: A funeral Mass was held March 28 at St. Charles Catholic Church in Bellows Falls, with burial at St. Charles Cemetery. Donations to Veterans' Administration Hospital, 15 North Main St., White River Junction; or Grace Cottage Hospital in Townshend.

• Richard F. Stacey, 76, of Hinsdale, N.H.  Died March 22 at his home. Husband of Lucy S. Eddy for 50 years. Father of Bart Richard Stacey and Brenda Ann Stacey, both of Hinsdale. Brother of Barbara Brooks of Newfane. Born in Bridgeport, Conn.,  the son of Clarence and Marjorie (Fairbanks) Stacey,  He was raised and educated in Dummerston and was a graduate of Brattleboro High School, Class of 1953. Served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1954 to 1957. Was a truck driver for JCT Trucking Company of Glastonbury, Conn., and had also owned and operated his own truck transportation for a number of years. He had also been employed at Stowell Electric, working as the company appliance man and for several years worked for Pepsi Cola in Brattleboro. Enjoyed hunting, attending area horse pulls, operating his small farm and gardening.  Memorial information: Graveside committal services with full military honors will be conducted in Oak Lawn Cemetery on Meetinghouse Road in Hinsdale later in the springtime when the cemetery reopens. • Cherolyn “Cherry” M. Truesdell, 78, of Brattleboro. Died March 21 at Hilltop House in Brattleboro. Wife of the late Raymond C. Truesdell. Born in Leominster, Mass., the daughter of the late Ira and Orpha (Dubois) McCoy, she spent the early part of her life in the Townshend area and had a love of the West River Valley and the people there. Enjoyed visiting with friends and watching her family grow. She made many friends throughout her life and will be greatly missed. Memorial information: A memorial service will be held March 31 at 10 a.m. at the Hilltop House common room in Brattleboro. Her cremated remains are to be buried later this spring with her parents in Oakwood Cemetery in Townshend. Donations to Rescue Inc., P.O. Box 593, Brattleboro, VT 05302.

• Kim M. Wrublevski, 54, of Dummerston. Died March 21. Daughter of Madeline (Goslin) and Clinton H. Albee, Jr., of Meriden, Conn., Mother of Nathan Winchester; Tanya Wrublevski and her partner, Michael Tallody; and Amanda Wrublevski and her partner, Jesse McMahon. Sister of Gail Chasse, Tammy Albee and her partner, Steven Fortier; Lisa and Steven Heath, and Robin and Dominic Merola, all of Meriden, Conn. Predeceased by a son, Zachary Winchester, and a brother, Mark C. Albee, of Meriden. Memorial information: A memorial service was held at the Green Mountain Chapel in Brattleboro. • Mona K. Young, 71, of Guilford. Died March 20 in Brattleboro. Wife of James Ralph Young Sr. Mother of Maryellen Young of Guilford; James Ralph Young, Jr.  of Ware, Mass.; Brenda Robinson of Guilford; and Matthew Young of Guilford. Predeceased by her sister, Dorothy Beese; a brother, Frank Winney; and a son, Kelly Young. Born in Poultney, daughter of Clifford and Eleanor Winney, she attended Southern Vermont College in Bennington and worked at The Book Press in Brattleboro until 1970. She late went to Thompson School of Nursing, where she became a Registered Nurse. She worked at Linden Lodge until she retired in 2001. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, trips to the ocean in Maine and her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Memorial information: No service will be held.
