Photography workshop series begins at Governor Hunt House

VERNON-Aspiring photographers in Vermont can now hone their craft with a hands-on workshop series launching at the Governor Hunt House Community Center, a historic venue that offers a welcoming space for creativity and learning.

Led by professional photographer Bambi Dingman, this series of classes will cover everything from mastering camera settings to creative composition, lighting, and editing techniques.

The series kicks off with "The Basics of Photography" on Wednesday, April 2, designed to help participants take control of their camera and move beyond auto mode.

Each workshop is tailored for photographers of all skill levels. Topics include portrait photography, landscapes, travel photography, editing, and developing a personal style.

"This is a great opportunity for anyone who loves photography to develop their own creative vision - whether you're capturing the beauty of Vermont or documenting your travels around the world," Dingman said in a news release. "The workshops are designed to be both educational and inspiring, with plenty of hands-on learning."

Dingman's work has been licensed worldwide by leading publishers and has been featured in magazines, travel brochures, and editorial publications. She has traveled extensively, capturing compelling images for commercial and editorial clients since 2005.

Workshops will be held Wednesday nights from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Each session costs $10 and includes instruction, guided practice, and discussion.
