Brattleboro Area Jewish Community (BAJC) invites everyone to join them as they celebrate Purim. This evening masquerade features klezmer music and dancing with Klezamir, "New England's dynamic roots rockin' klezmer band extraordinaire."
There will be circus cabaret performances by Kinetic Theory Theatre, crafts, traditional treats and refreshments, and a Purim Spiel, the satirical re-enactment of the Megillah (scroll) of Esther.
Costumes or masks encouraged. A sliding scale suggested donation of $10–$20 is appreciated.
Congregation Shir Heharim (Song of the Mountains) fosters the Brattleboro Area Jewish community through Jewish pride and identity as well as religious, spiritual, educational, social, and cultural experiences.
