Vote411, the League of Women Voters voter guide, is online

The League of Women Voters of Vermont has launched Vote411, its user-friendly, mobile-responsive, comprehensive voter guide to help voters make informed decisions as they prepare to vote confidently on or before Nov. 5, whether by absentee ballot or in person on Election Day.

"Voting is the cornerstone of our democracy, and the League is incredibly proud to serve the public as a trusted resource for voters, especially as voters face disinformation campaigns," the organization said in a news release. "Vote411 continues the League's rich history of providing voters with non-partisan, factual, and trusted electoral information."

This free "one-stop shop" for statewide election information includes candidate information, voter registration, polling place information, and other helpful Election Day resources, including links to candidate forums. With tools in both English and Spanish, Vote411 is tailored to meet the unique needs of most Vermont voters.

The League urges Vermonters to visit Vote411 ahead of the election. Here's how it works: users navigate to Vote411.org and enter their address to find what is on their ballot and information about candidates including where they stand on issues. The online guide features photos of each candidate who responded and their answers to League questions on their qualifications and issues.

In addition to Vote411, the League encourages active participation in government by conducting voter registration drives and candidate forums, get-out-the-vote social media messaging, and educational forums on critical public policy issues.
