Brannan Street closed for retaining wall repairs

BRATTLEBORO - This week, LaRock Construction began replacement of a retaining wall near the eastern intersection of Brannan and Williams streets. The work is expected to take several weeks.

Brannan Street will remain closed from the east intersection with Williams Street to its intersection of West Street until the project is complete.

Pavement repairs will then be made on Brannan Street, Crosby Street, Strand Avenue, West Street, and Highlawn Road, creating minor traffic restrictions.

Residents should plan accordingly and seek alternate routes. Emergency services will adapt to these closures when necessary.

For more information, contact Brattleboro Public Works at 802-254-4255 or email Darren Pacheco, highway and maintenance superintendent, at [email protected].
