BRATTLEBORO-I have known David Gartenstein for over 40 years, since he hired me to cook at the Common Ground Restaurant in 1984.
David has an unmatched record of public service in this community over the past 30 years, spanning years on the Development Review Board, the School Board, and six years on the Selectboard, including as chair. Now he's town moderator. Public service seems to be in his DNA!
His professional work in the Windham County State's Attorney office has served to balance public safety and the often-elusive goal of criminal justice. He handles the bulk of juvenile and adult sex crimes on behalf of the community.
What I value most in David are his high standards of integrity and his ability to communicate with clarity. The combination of those traits with his vast experience make him the best candidate for the Windham-9 seat in the state House of Representatives.
