HALIFAX — • 7 p.m. - Live entertainment by Dusti Dufrense of Colrain, Mass., and great ice cream. Community hall: located at the intersection of Branch and Brook roads in the village of West Halifax.
Saturday, July 17
A daylong celebration of fun, food, history and much more. Activities start at 10 a.m. There will be a historic homes bus tour, children's parade, kids pie eating contest, food and games for the kids.
• 10 a.m. - Firemen's water polo followed by a lawn tractor pull.
• 4:30 p.m. - The Halifax fire department will have their famous chicken barbecue.
Sunday, July 18
• 10 a.m. - Church service at West Halifax Bible Church where the first Halifax Old Home Day began in 1930.
• Noon - A luncheon will be served on the church grounds.
• 2:30 p.m. - A grand parade will bring the events of Halifax 2010 Old Home days to a close.
