WESTMINSTER — Brattleboro Area Hospice presents its second annual garden party event on Friday, July 26, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., in the gardens of Cyndy Fine of Genius Loci, Ecological Landscape Design, at 3293 Route 5, Westminster Village.
Organizers say the event “will feature the opportunity to explore one of the region's most spectacular summer gardens in full, July bloom, to learn about Brattleboro Area Hospice in its 40th year, and to visit with great company, all while enjoying light refreshments and a cash bar.“
Musicians Elizabeth Rogers and Eugene Friesen will provide music, and the Hallowell singers will again offer songs in four-part harmony. From joyful to reverent, these songs have been sung around the bedsides of the dying or in the living rooms of homes where family has gathered to support a loved one at the end of life.
The event will offer an informal opportunity to learn more about the work of Brattleboro Area Hospice in the region and to find out about how to get involved. Friends, volunteers, and staff of the organization will be in attendance to talk to attendees about the work and what it means to them.
Admission to the event is $30 per person or $50 for two people attending together. Tickets may be purchased at the event or ahead of time. To purchase tickets, visit www.brattleborohospice.org. Proceeds will directly benefit the programs and services of Brattleboro Area Hospice.
