GUILFORD — I am writing to express my gratitude to the voters, supporters, and volunteers who have shown their confidence in me and helped me win the election for the Windham-1 seat in the Vermont House of Representatives.
I'm proud to have earned the support of local voters during my campaign, and I am incredibly honored to be able to represent and serve the towns of Guilford and Vernon.
As a candidate, I have worked to run my race in a way that shows people the way I will serve as a state representative. I've thrown all my energy into campaigning, and I've worked hard to meet and listen to the members of my community so I can understand what's truly important to them.
My amazing group of volunteers drove me door-knocking, hosted neighborhood gatherings, participated in group canvassing, and made phone calls to their neighbors. Together, we connected with more than 1,600 voters in Guilford and Vernon!
I have been inspired by the people in my district, and because of them, I will head to Montpellier to focus on important issues like strengthening our rural economy, building strong public schools, supporting local farmers, protecting the environment, and helping working people and small businesses by increasing access to high-speed internet, affordable housing, child care, and health care.
I will do everything possible to ensure that the people of Vernon and Guilford have a strong voice in Montpelier. If you live in my district, it is my privilege to represent you, and you should always feel free to contact me if you need assistance or want to let me know what's on your mind about matters facing our local community.
