BRATTLEBORO — MC Lily DeValley and DJ GlitterBear bring a night of music, dancing, and drag to 118 Elliot on Saturday, Sept. 1, from 9 p.m. to midnight.
“It's time to celebrate the end of Summer VaGAYtion in style this Labor Day weekend! Special guests Anita Lay and Jasmine D'Lux will perform at 9:30 and 11 p.m. Come in style to celebrate, dance, and support your local queer community!” DeValley said in a news release.
DeValley has emceed and produced a variety of shows that are both LGBTQ- and straight-friendly at 118 Elliot and The Stone Church in Brattleboro as well as other area venues. DJ Glitterbear brings her trademark smile as she explores the many genres that make up modern and vintage dance music.
The event is open to everyone 18 and older. Whetstone Station Restaurant & Brewery will offer a cash bar for ages 21 and above. Admission is on a sliding scale from $10-$15. More information can be found on Facebook.
