Good day to you! The coming week is going to feature mainly sunny skies, warmer-than-normal temperatures, and low humidity.
In other words, there's not too much to discuss this week. However, even with this week's dearth of atmospheric activity, such a respite may be coming to a close by the time we get into the middle of next week. Our pattern is beginning to look more active, with cooler and wetter risks entering our daily sensible weather mix.

For Wednesday, high pressure will build into the region, with a weak cold front off near the Great Lakes. This front will pass through Thursday night, but it will likely be a dry frontal passage. In the meantime, highs on Wednesday should crest into the low to mid 60s with lows in the mid 40s. Some patchy fog will be possible late at night or early Thursday morning.
For Thursday, high pressure to our southeast will induce a more southerly flow and kick temperatures up a few degrees. Highs should be in the upper 60s under sunny skies, with lows in the mid 40s. Our weak cold front will pass through and cool us slightly for Friday before we warm again this weekend.
For Friday, we will continue the fair weather regime, with plenty of sunshine and highs in the low 60s and lows in the low to mid 40s.
The weekend will warm back up to near 70 degrees both days with plenty of sunshine, as high pressure moves off to our east. At the same time, low pressure far to our northwest will combine with the high-pressure system to induce our warmer-than-normal temperatures to set up shop over southern Vermont. Lows both nights will be in the upper 40s to near 50 degrees.
For Monday, we should enjoy one more fairly warm and sunny day with highs in the upper 60s, but thereafter, changes are brewing.
We could see a solid rainstorm in here for Tuesday and Wednesday, and temperatures will be dropping into the 50s for highs by the middle of next week. More volatility is expected in terms of cooler temperatures and more chances for wet weather as a trough tries to develop in the eastern United States.
