BRATTLEBORO — The next Wardsboro Curtain Call event features Mister Dix on Saturday, June 17. Admission is $10 at the door; pizza bites and other refreshments are included with admission.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m.; Music begins at 7 p.m. at the Wardsboro Town Hall on Main Street.
Mister Dix exists as a simple and joyful expression. The combined musical efforts of Colby Dix (guitar, vocals), Dan Gullotti (drums), and Jean Chaine (bass), culminate in a blend of rock, funk/fusion, psych-folk, and alt-country, all with a twinge of humor and humility. Basically, they're here to have a good time.
Other shows in the 2017 Wardsboro Curtain Call music series include Nashville singer-songwriter David Olney, with Daniel Seymour, on July 22 with local favorites Hungrytown opening the show; contemporary folk duo Neptune's Car on Sept. 16; and blues musician and historian Scott Ainslie on Oct. 13. All shows are in Wardsboro Town Hall; admission for each is $10.
