Richard and Rebecca Griswold of Andover, Vt., are proud to announce the birth of their daughter, Reese Isabella Jacquelyn Griswold, born on Nov.8, 2016. She weighed 7 pounds, 14.6 ounces, and was 20 inches long.

• Mary (Ethridge) Bonski, 78, of Ashuelot, N.H. Died Nov. 13 at Applewood Rehabilitation Center in Winchester, N.H. She was born in Hinsdale on Nov. 11, 1938, the daughter of the late Helen (Place) and Lewis Ethridge Sr. She was educated in Hinsdale, graduating from Hinsdale High School with the Class of 1957. She married Andrew Bonski in 1958. She worked in banking for many years in both Vermont and New Hampshire. After retirement, she worked at the Hinsdale Elementary School in the cafeteria. She loved to cook, was an avid reader, and loved to spend time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Brenda Ebbighausen and her husband, Brian; two brothers, Lewis Francis Ethridge Jr. and his wife, Irene, and James Curtis Ethridge; a sister, Helen Joyce Whitney and her husband, Hugh; and two grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Michael Bonski, and two brothers, Roswell and Richard Ethridge. Memorial information: A funeral Mass was held Nov. 17 at St. Joseph's/Mary Queen of Peace Church in Hinsdale, with burial in the family lot at Pine Grove Cemetery in Hinsdale. Donations to the charity of one's choice. Services were handled by Cheshire Family Funeral Home in Swanzey, N.H.

• Jean Alicia Coburn, 86, of Windham. Died Nov. 5 in Alabama at the home of her son, Alan. She was born in Guilford on March 7, 1930, the daughter of Roy and Lillian (Maynard) Ingraham. She attended Leland & Gray Seminary in Townshend, and was later married to Donald Coburn, who predeceased her. She worked for Dr. Carlos Otis, founder of Grace Cottage Hospital. For several years, she worked part-time at the Weston Bowl Mill. After her retirement, she spent time doing volunteer work for the hospital and was Windham's Tax Collector. She also worked as a volunteer at the Windham Public library. She was an active member of the Windham Congregational Church and was a member and Past Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and country music, was an avid bird watcher, liked gardening and, above all, cherished her feline companions. She took great pride in her garden and adored her family. She was also an accomplished cook and baker. She is survived by her children, Francis Coburn of West Wardsboro, Roy Coburn of Windham, Alan Coburn of McCalla, Ala., and Dolly Oosterman, Homosassa, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by two brothers, Maynard Ingraham, and Wayne Ingraham; and four sisters, Rachel Callahan, Mabel Praught, Elizabeth Sprague, and Winoa Hoard. Memorial information: A memorial service was held Nov. 19 at Windham Congregational Church. Donations to Windham Congregational Church.

• Milo F. Knapp Sr., 56, of Harrisville, N.H. Died Nov. 16 at his residence. He was born in Townshend on April 26, 1960; the son of the late Leon E. Knapp Sr. and Nancy (Rice) Powling. He graduated from Brattleboro Union High School, Class of 1978, and went on to serve his country in the Army. He was self-employed as a carpenter. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing guitar, tinkering on cars, animals, and riding motorcycles. He was a very hard-working man and loved carpentry. In his younger years, he was a Cub Scout and Boy Scout. In addition to his father, he is predeceased by two brothers, Leon E, Knapp Jr. and Alonzo “Peter” Knapp. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Nancy and Percy Powling of South Newfane; a son, Milo F. Knapp Jr. of New York; two daughters, Christina Heidrich-Aldrich of New York and Desiree Van Arkel of Texas; a sister, Wannetta Powling and her husband, Mark, of Williamsville; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and close friends. Memorial information: A funeral service was held Nov. 22 at Ker-Westerlund Funeral Home in Brattleboro, with burial in South Newfane Cemetery. • Ronald D. McGivern, 70, of Westminster. Died Nov. 14. He was born March 6, 1946 in Newport, Vt., the son of Harold and Hattie (Woodward) McGivern. In 1988, he married Dale (Kennett) Kingsbury. He worked as a cook at Rita's Coffee Shop in Bellows Falls for several years and he owned and operated, along with his wife, BF Taxi in Bellows Falls for more than 20 years. He enjoyed watching WWE, doing jigsaw puzzles, going fishing, and just being outside. He also enjoyed taking care of his beloved pets and being surrounded by friends and family, reminiscing about the good old days. He had a big heart and was always willing to help out. He is survived by his wife; his daughter, Heaven; his sisters Pauline Bosley, Iris Tracy and husband, Paul, and Gloria Jacobs; his brothers Robert McGivern and his wife, Christine and Reginald McGivern, Sr. and his wife, Sandra; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, his sisters Gertrude Abbott and Virginia Locke, and brothers Harold Jr. and Raymond McGivern. Memorial information: A celebration of his life will be held Dec. 3, from 1 to 4 p.m., at the American Legion in Bellows Falls.

• David R. Quelch, 79, of Springfield, Vt., formerly of Bellows Falls. Died Nov. 9. He was born in Leicester, Vt., on Oct. 12, 1937, the son of Robert and Eleanor (Anderson) Quelch. He is survived by his stepsons Dale and Steve Hall; his stepdaughter Catherine Laine and her husband, Sean; his cousin Maurice Quelch; step-granddaughter Amanda; and his nieces Tammy Gould, Sheila Quelch, Sharon Snide, Robin Stankevich, Deanna Alexander, Kimberly Lamoureaux, Doreen Aldrich, and Melinda Cyr. He was predeceased by his parents, his wife Earlene Jefts Quelch, and his brothers Gordon and Edward. Memorial information: Calling hours are 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 2 at Fenton & Hennessey Funeral Home in Bellows Falls. There will be a graveside service Saturday, Dec. 3, at 11 a.m., in the Oakland Cemetery in Springfield.

• June (Douglas) St. John, 91, formerly of Guilford. Died Nov. 17. Born on Aug. 29, 1925 in Burlington, to Leon and Amanda (Egan) Douglas, she married Sam St. John in 1945. They had their three sons while living in Connecticut. In 1955, they moved to Guilford to start a dairy farm. They were also co-owners of the family business, Fireside True Value in Brattleboro and Wilmington. She and her husband retired in 1982 and moved to Florida, where she lived untll she moved back to Vermont in 2014. She is survived by her sons Wayne St. John and his wife Brenda, Gary St. John and his wife Denise, and Glenn St. John and his wife Sharon; five grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. Memorial information: There will be a service on Dec. 22 at the Guilford Community Church, 38 Church Drive, at a time to be determined.
