Leland & Gray Players present Monty Python’s ‘Spamalot’

TOWNSHEND — The first show for the Leland & Gray Players' 21st season is Eric Idle's “Spamalot.”

Adapted from the classic film comedy “Monty Python and the Holy Grail,” “Spamalot” retells the legend of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table with some very quirky knights, a bevy of showgirls, a flying cow, a killer rabbit, French taunters, and dwellers of Ni - all with outrageous music, lyrics, dialogue, and dance.

Spamalot boasts a large cast featuring sophomore Gabrel Vanni-Phillips as King Arthur, senior Chloe Fawcett as the Lady of the Lake, sophomore Fairen Stark as Sir Robin, junior Kenny Cashman as Sir Lancelot, eighth grader Luke Parker-Jennings as Patsy, senior Tino Benson as Sir Galahad, and sophomore Sam Thibault as Sir Bedevere, according to a news release.
