BRATTLEBORO — United Way of Windham County thanks all the 65 medical and non-medical volunteers who made this year's Adult Dental Care Day a huge success.
More than 115 local area residents received the dental care they needed on May 7.
Thank you to the Elks lodge in Brattleboro for the use of the facility, where Dr. Lance Miller and Dr. Jeffrey Wallace screened clients.
Also, a big thank you to the participating dental offices and staffs.
This event helped shed light on dental health, and we give special thanks to Jennifer Fitzgerald, R.N., the care coordinator for the community health team at Brattleboro Memorial Hospital, for providing educational resources at the event. A big round of applause goes to Rick John, who helped transport many of the clients to the dental offices!
Thanks also to Vermont 2-1-1, Rescue Inc., and our other financial and in-kind supporters.
