BRATTLEBORO — The Windham Regional Career Center at Brattleboro Union High School will offer 18 Community Education and Training programs for this spring.
Betsy Gentile, workforce development manager and adult education coordinator, said these programs are designed to meet the needs of area employers and their employees, as well as to provide personal and professional enrichment opportunities for all community members.
Courses offered this spring include American Red Cross Nursing Assistant Training Program; Certified Fiber Optic Technician; Small Engine Maintenance & Repair; American Sign Language; Introduction to Computer Applications; Intermediate Microsoft Word; Introduction to Microsoft Excel; Intermediate Microsoft Excel; Introduction to QuickBooks 2014; More Ways to Use Google Tools; Introduction to Italian; Beyond Beginning Spanish; Intermediate French; Social Media for Personal and Business Use; Cooking with the Chef; Financial Workshop: Your Source for Financial Education; Maximize Your Electronic Phones and Tablets; and Digital Photography.
The Career Center also offers more than 300 online courses and certificate training programs available throughout the year.
