BELLOWS FALLS — The Bellows Falls Downtown Development Alliance (BFDDA) will participate in the fifth annual Small Business Saturday on Nov. 29 to support independent businesses in Bellows Falls.
Founded by American Express in 2010, Small Business Saturday is a day to celebrate the small businesses that help support your neighborhood. It is held every year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving to encourage shoppers, businesses, and public officials to come together to shop locally and show their neighborhood pride.
Nov. 29 also marks the beginning of the monthlong Shop Local program in Bellows Falls. Nov. 29 and 30 is Open House weekend in Bellows Falls, with more than 40 businesses participating in BFDDA's holiday shopping program. By patronizing local businesses, customers can be rewarded by completing shopping cards available at participating businesses for entry into prize drawings.
The Bellows Falls Downtown Development Alliance is devoted to the continuing revitalization of downtown Bellows Falls, the historic commercial center of the town of Rockingham.
Founded in November 1999, the BFDDA is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that works with the Vermont Downtown Program, the Town of Rockingham, and the Village of Bellows Falls.
