BELLOWS FALLS — Join the Rockingham Arts and Museum Project (RAMP), Vermont Life staff, the state Office of the Creative Economy, and creatives around the Bellows Falls area for a dynamic story pitch event designed to draw out some of the best examples of creativity and innovation happening in Vermont today.
The event takes place on Thursday, May 22, at 5:30 p.m., at Popolo in The Square.
If you've got a great story about why, how, and where you create - and the influence of the rural context in your work - Vermont Life wants to hear from you. The magazine is especially interested in learning about ways creativity and innovation are influenced by and contribute to the lifestyle, work, and recreation opportunities across the Green Mountain State.
Building on previous pitch events in Brattleboro, Springfield, White River Junction, and Montpelier, Pitch Vermont Life Bellows Falls is looking for more great stories about the people, products, and communities of Vermont to share across its print and electronic properties.
There is room for 15 presenters with some room for a public audience. Light fare and refreshments will be served at 5:30 p.m. Pitching will begin at 6 p.m. and take place in three 20-minute rounds, five 3-minute pitches per round. Each round will be separated by a 15-minute break.
Registration and slide deck entry must be received by 11:59PM Wednesday May 21.
