Main Street Arts announces fall classes

SAXTONS RIVER — Main Street Arts announces its fall schedule of classes and activities, and what a schedule it is. Offering everything from stilt walking to belly dancing to haiku and conversational Spanish, MSA has left you no excuse not to try something new and exciting this fall.

Matt Peake leads a collaborative art project for adults and teens; Emily Lisai brings you “Yoga for Everyone;” Dave Tuttle will sharpen your skills in woodcarving; Annesa Hartman is all about needle felting.

Classes for children include “Beginning Suzuki Violin” with Paul Ruscak, and two ballet classes with Nan Mann. The MSA Creative Arts After-school Program (CAAP) delivers exploratory and studio arts.

In addition to classes, MSA offers a weekly string band session open to all levels; Spanish and German potluck gatherings; a monthly Scrabble night; a photography club; and strength training for seniors.
