• Vermont's oldest organic herb and flower farm is teaming up with Putney's newest restaurant to present the 2nd annual Garlic Harvest Dinner.

Every August, High Meadows Farm (highmeadowsfarm.com), at 742 Westminster West Rd. in Westminster West, hangs all its garlic to dry in the rafters of its 160-year-old barn. For the evening, the barn will become a whimsical dining room, and the fresh raspberries, herbs, greens, and potatoes growing around the barn will become a four-course dinner.

The Gleanery (thegleanery.com; 802-387-3052), a restaurant at 133 Main St. in Putney which emphasizes locally sourced ingredients, is responsible for the menu.

The dinner will take place Sunday, Aug. 18 starting at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets are $45, for sale at the Gleanery and at the Brattleboro Farmers' Market.
