TOWNSHEND — Leland & Gray's Project Graduation 2013 was a success!
We had 35 seniors attend (70 percent of the class of 2013), most of whom brought a guest.
Students gorged at PanAsian in Brattleboro, then danced and played on inflatable carnival games such as jousting, bungee run, and an obstacle course.
We could not have had such a fun evening without the time volunteered by students and parents and generous donations from community businesses and independent donors.
We give a special thanks to Brown Motors in Greenfield, which donated the highlight of the evening: a used Pontiac Vibe won by a deserving senior, Kori Griffin.
Project Graduations across the country are planned to provide new graduates and their friends with a memorable celebration of their big day while remaining safe and substance-free.
To the class of 2013: Congrats!
