SAXTONS RIVER — Bring your sweetie and enjoy dinner and a Valentine's Day evening of a cappella love songs with House Blend on Thursday, Feb. 14, at 6 p.m.
Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for children accompanied by an adult.
This is the final event in Main Street Arts' fifth annual “Taste of the Arts, Tales from a Community” fundraising series.
House Blend, formed in 2006, is an assembly of 23 veteran singers from Vermont and New Hampshire, “devoted to the collective exploration of the many styles of mostly a cappella songs from around the world and throughout musical history.”
According to their website, www.houseblend.org, the “Blenders” look to the artistic direction of all of their members to guide the group.
Main Street Arts, now in its 25th year, is a non-profit community arts center in the heart of the village of Saxtons River. According to its website, it has attained 75 percent of its $875,000 “Moving Forward, Moving Up!” capital campaign goal.
