From Interstate 91, from north take Exit 6, from the south take Exit 5 and follow signs into downtown. Find the Exner Art Block off the downtown square on the way to the train station.
• Sherwin Art Glass: Christopher Sherwin. Hand-sculpted, blown glass. 33 Bridge Street, Bellows Falls, 802-376-5744. From Interstate 91 north, take Exit 5. Make a slight right onto the I-91 access road/Westminster Street Highway and go for 0.6 mile. Turn left onto U.S. Route 5 and go for 2.5 miles. Bear right at the light onto North Westminster Street and go 0.3 mile into the center of Bellows Falls. Turn right onto Bridge Street, pass the post office on the right, cross canal bridge, and the studio is on the right. Traveling south on Interstate 91, take Exit 6 and bear right onto Route 5 south. Follow signs to Bellows Falls. Go left onto Bridge Street and follow directions above.

From the center of Townshend, drive north on Rte 30 for 4 miles towards West Townshend. Turn right on Winslow Drive, right across from the Dam Diner. Drive 0.4 mile to #192. First house on the right, with cedar shake shingles and dark green trim.

From Route 30, in Townshend, turn onto Route 35 (Grafton Road) and head north for 0.1 mile. Turn right onto Peaked Mountain Rd (TH 29), opposite Grace Cottage Hospital. Drive up Peaked Mountain Rd for 0.6 mile and turn right into driveway at #628.
• Robert DuGrenier Associates, Inc.: Robert Du Grenier. Handblown, contemporary, and hand painted glass. 1096 Vermont Rte 30, Townshend, 802-365-4400. On Route 30, the studio is 1 mile south of Townshend Village, 3.5 miles north of Newfane Village.
• Windmill Hill Alpaca Farm and Artisanry: Laura Solomon. Alpaca hand-spun, hand-knit, natural colors. 842 Grassy Brook Road, Brookline, 802-348-9300. From Brattleboro, follow Route 30 north for about 12 miles to Newfane. From Newfane common, continue 1 mile north on Route 30 and turn right (east) at Radway Hill Road. Travel 4.6 miles as Radway Hill becomes Grassy Brook Road. Continue on Grassy Brook and pass the elementary school on the right. They are 1.2 miles beyond the school on the right with 842 on the mailbox. Look for the Alpaca sign and turn right into the driveway and park.

At the bottom of the ramp, turn onto Route 5/Canal Street. Go 0.8 mile, and turn left onto Brook Street. Go one block and continue straight ahead, down the steep hill, onto Frost Place. Continue less than 0.1 mile to Willow St. Turn left and go to the fourth house on the left.
• Orchard Street Pottery: Walter Slowinski. Wood-fired salt-glazed pottery, branch handles. 658 Orchard Street, Brattleboro, 802-257-1030. From Interstate 91, take Exit 2 to Route 9 west. Go for 0.1 mile and turn right onto Orchard Street., the second street on the right. Travel north for 1.1 miles. The studio is on the left in the old brown barn, first house past the cemetery.

Turn right onto Sunset Lake Road, just after you pass the Chelsea Royal Diner. Travel on Sunset Lake Road for 1 mile, and continue straight for 1.5 miles after the pavement ends. You will pass Kelly Road and look for the second entrance to Hescock Road on your left. Follow signs to the studio. If you reach Fisch road, you've gone too far.

Go 4.6 miles, road will turn to gravel. Look for yellow sign (North Pond Road) on the left. Studio is at the second driveway on the left on North Pond Road.

From West Brattleboro, take Route 9 for about 5 miles. Go left on MacArthur Road and travel up hill for 1.4 miles to a T. The right hand branch is marked Turnpike Road and is the studio driveway.

• The Art of Humor Gallery: Skip Morrow. Seriously funny fine art gallery. 30 Not-A Road, Wilmington, 802-464-5523. From Interstate 91, take exit 2 in Brattleboro to Route 9 west toward Wilmington and go about 17 miles. When you reach the top of Hogback Mountain, you will see a 100 mile view on your left. Travel another 1.5 miles and turn right onto Lake Raponda Road. Go 0.5 mile, then turn right onto Ware Rd. Proceed 0.3 mile and turn right onto Not-A Road. Go past one house on the left. The road ends at The Art of Humor Gallery and the Brass Bed B & B.

In Wilmington, at the light in the center of town, go east on Route 9 to White's Road, just under a mile. White's Road is on the left, just past Wahoo's Food Stand. Turn left and go about 0.5 mile. Turn left at Woods Road across the bridge to Medburyville, and turn right onto New England Power Road. Find the studio behind the first house on the left, in the restored barn.

From the center of Wilmington, turn onto South Main Street, which jogs slightly left and becomes Castle Hill Road. Travel about 0.3 mile to the studio on the left.

Traveling from Brattleboro on Route 9 west, turn left onto Route 100 south in Wilmington and go 3.6 miles. Turn right onto the Wilmington Cross Road. Go 2 miles on the Wilmington Cross Road to its end at Route 100. Cross Route 100 onto Goodnow Road (sign also says Brigham Young Monument). Go 0.6 mile to the junction of Goodnow and Town Hill roads. Go 100 feet further, turn left up a gravel driveway to a large red metal building.

Travel south on Route 100 from Wilmington, pass through Jacksonville, in 3 miles turn right onto Maple Drive before reaching Whitingham Village, or travel north from Readsboro on Route 100, pass through Whitingham Village and take the first left on Maple Drive. From there, take the first right on Faulkner Road and cross Lake Clara on the causeway. No. 488 is the first house on the right after the lake.
