BRATTLEBORO — The Brattleboro Branch of American Association of University Women (AAUW), is once again offering college scholarships of $1,000 each to qualified female candidates who are residents of windham County.
One of the scholarships is being given in memory of Jane Baker, a 50-year member of AAUW.

Mature women, 25 years or older, who have successfully completed their first year of an accredited two-year or four-year degree program and are continuing their studies part or full time in the fall are encouraged to apply.
Guidance counselors in area high schools have application forms. Mature women may obtain them from area college financial aid offices.
Applications must be received before or by Tuesday, May 1 (postmarked April 30 at the latest) and should be submitted to AAUW Scholarship Committee Chairwoman Gillian Winner, PO Box 212, Newfane, VT 05345. Further information is available from Winner at [email protected].
